At Steep House in Petersfield, we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Care Home Open Week
We’re proud to be celebrating Care Home Open Week! Join us as we host a range of events and activities, showcasing our commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our residents and their loved ones. Everyone is welcome to attend our events. They include:
Date: Monday 16th June
Time: From 10am – 11:30am
We will be welcoming Petersfield Mayor, Cllr Chris Paige, accompanied by the music of Pakistan.
Date: Tuesday 17th June
Time: From 2pm – 4pm
Afternoon tea in the Garden, with summertime music, such as the Beach Boys.
Date: Wednesday 18th June
Time: From 2pm
To celebrate the birthday of Paul McCartney there will be music by the Beatles , and in the afternoon there will be singing and moving to country music.
Date: Thursday 19th June
Time: From 2pm
The musical theme continues, with guitar serenades for residents in their rooms, as well as the creation of individual music playlists and a communal singalong with instruments.
Date: Friday 20th June
Time: From 2:30pm – 3:30pm
Entertainer Natasha performs “Tunes from England” on the piano, with residents encouraged to join in.
Date: Saturday 21st June
Time: From 10am – 12pm
Watching the King’s birthday parade and listening to marching band music.

Ryan Mac – Entertainer
Date: Thursday 26th June
Time: 2pm – 3pm
Ryan performs a repertoire of familiar songs, including classics by Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble. He delivers an eclectic mix of Swing, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Funk and Soul and has even performed on the BBC1 and ITV1 and for a member of the British Royal Family.
