An Afternoon of Music and Joy at Southborough Nursing Home
The lounge at Southborough Nursing Home was recently brought to life by the ever-wonderful Adina Smallwood, a cherished performer and familiar face to many of our residents. With her uplifting melodies and heartfelt vocals, Adina once again delivered an afternoon brimming with joy, rhythm, and connection.
From toe-tapping classics to soul-stirring ballads, the music quickly had residents swaying, smiling, and even dancing in their seats. The vibrant atmosphere was a true reflection of the spirit within our home—where every shared experience fosters joy and belonging.
Adina’s visits are always warmly anticipated, and her ability to engage with each person in the room makes every performance feel deeply personal. As our lovely resident Ruth so beautifully said, “It’s great to have music in our lounge—you bring such good energy and you speak to each person present. It’s something we all really appreciate.”
A heartfelt thank you to Adina for another wonderful performance, and to our residents, whose openness and enthusiasm remind us daily of the powerful role music plays in bringing people together.
We look forward to welcoming Adina back very soon for more unforgettable moments.
