Beautiful flowers, Tranquil Gardens and Tea with Friends
Residents from Southborough Nursing Home recently enjoyed a truly special day out at the idyllic Morden Hall Park—a stunning National Trust location known for its tranquil gardens and welcoming atmosphere.
The outing offered a delightful blend of nature, connection, and gentle adventure. Residents took great pleasure in exploring both the indoor and outdoor plant displays at the garden centre. Barbara particularly relished a spot of shopping and shared warm conversations with the friendly staff, while Mavis was thrilled to find her favourite lavender soap—a much-loved sensory treat cherished for its soothing fragrance.
In the peaceful setting of the garden centre café, Lily enjoyed time with her niece over a comforting cup of hot chocolate. Meanwhile, Lesley was joined by her husband and son, making the day especially meaningful. The visit stirred fond memories, as the family were frequent visitors to the park, and the opportunity to reconnect in such a beautiful environment was truly heartwarming.
Sincere thanks go to Myley Tours for organising such a smooth and memorable experience, and to our dedicated driver, John, whose kindness and helpfulness made all the difference—right down to helping Barbara find exactly what she was looking for.
A special thank you also to our wonderful team member Tarek, whose support on the day was greatly appreciated, and to the lovely family members who joined us. Your presence helped make the day one to remember.
Moments like these reflect the very heart of life at Aria Care—nurturing joy, embracing nature, and creating meaningful connections.
Here’s to many more days of togetherness, discovery, and delight.
