Claydon House Care Home in Lewes, East Sussex joined many people across the country as they hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise funds to support those affected by cancer.
As well as a host of sweet treats and hot beverages on offer there were games to play and music for family and friends to enjoy on the day. There were a number of cakes to choose from including a variety of different flavoured cupcakes with wonderful decorations and some millionaire shortbread slices.
We often host fundraising activities for charitable organisations as well as a monthly coffee club for the local community to come along to.
Thank you to everyone who joined our community to raise money for such a worthwhile cause. We raised a great amount of money, had a lot of fun and ate some amazing cakes, and we look forward to seeing you at our next event!
