Sundridge Court Care Home held a summer BBQ at the end of August for their residents, families, and friends. As part of the day, we held a fundraiser through a favourite of the home – a tombola! We raised £53 which will be put towards some upcoming activities being organised for our residents.
During the BBQ, we welcomed a visiting entertainer, Jonothan Stevens, who sang a selection of songs for our residents. Transporting us back to yesteryear through music can have a hugely beneficial effect on our residents, having a toe-tap to some classics can bring memories flooding back of trips to dance halls.
Everyone who joined us on the day had a great time and we look forward to more events in the future.
