Community Comes Together at Cedar View to Support The Care Workers Charity
Cedar View Care Centre was delighted to welcome families, friends, and members of the local community for a series of heart-warming fundraising events held on 30th June, all in support of The Care Workers Charity.
The day began with a lively coffee morning in the home’s cinema room, hosted in partnership with Active Voices—a local group supporting children and young people with special educational needs and their carers. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and conversation as guests gathered to enjoy coffee, cakes, and the shared spirit of giving.
Adding to the day’s success, students from Coombe Wood School joined the fundraising efforts by organising a fun and engaging quiz. Their enthusiasm and sense of community shone through as they raised additional funds through their participation.
In the afternoon, Cedar View hosted a popular cake sale, where residents, families and friends generously supported the cause by purchasing delicious homemade treats.
Thanks to the collective effort and generosity of all involved, Cedar View proudly raised £100 for The Care Workers Charity — a fantastic cause supporting those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.
The team at Cedar View would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part and made the day such a success. It was a shining example of the community spirit that lies at the heart of Aria Care.
