At Coxhill Manor Nursing and Residential Home in Surrey, we’ve been celebrating one of our amazing care assistants and a very special member of our team, Cherie, on her 25th work anniversary.
Before working for Aria Care, Cherie joined a care agency, and Coxhill Manor was one of the sites she visited. Officially joining the home in 1999, Cherie is known for her dedication, skill, and positive attitude.
When asked what ‘Care from the Heart’ means to her, she replied, “looking at the residents as family, treating them with respect, and trying to be as compassionate as possible if they are upset. I also like to remember that they are someone’s parent.”
Cherie continues, “I really enjoy when the residents tell me about when they were younger, where they worked, and what they liked to do in their pastimes. The residents chat to me about their families and friends and what they enjoy doing.”
To celebrate this milestone and thank Cherie for her hard work, the home presented her with a certificate and a lovely bunch of flowers.
