Belmont House awarded prestigious accreditation

Belmont House is proud to announce its outstanding achievement in being awarded the Gold Standards Framework (GSF) Care Homes Accreditation Quality Hallmark Award. This prestigious recognition comes with a perfect score of 60/60, highlighting Belmont House’s commitment to delivering exceptional end-of-life care.

The award will be formally presented at the GSF Conference and Awards Ceremony on Friday 29th September at The Pendulum Hotel in Manchester. This remarkable accomplishment places Aria Care’s Belmont House among the elite in the field of end-of-life care.

The GSF report commended Belmont House for its proactive approach to GSF implementation, close collaboration with other disciplines to promote best practices, and its significant success in reducing hospital admissions. Their long-term care team, including a group of three dedicated GSF coordinators, have demonstrated unwavering commitment to the people they care for. Furthermore, the community’s dedicated workforce and its people-focused care, which consistently goes the extra mile, were also recognised as strengths.

“The GSF Care Homes Accreditation Quality Hallmark Award is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our team at Belmont House,” said Home Manager Arthur Tanare.

“We are honored to be recognised for our excellence in end-of-life care, and this award motivates us to continue providing the highest standard of care to our residents and their families.”

The Gold Standards Framework (GSF) is a UK charity with over 25 years of experience as the leading training provider for end-of-life care employees. Their practical, evidence-based programme strives to enhance end-of-life care by ensuring all caregivers meet GSF standards.

The GSF Accreditation Quality Hallmark Award is nationally recognised as a kite-mark for quality in end-of-life care, making this achievement a source of great pride for Belmont House.

Ruth Yates, Managing Director of Operations commented, “I have immense pride in the outstanding effort and dedication demonstrated by the Belmont House team in attaining this prestigious award. At Aria Care, we believe the people we care for are always at the heart of everything we do.

This marks the third community within the Group that has received recognition from the GSF, and as we continue our collective journey towards improvement, our goal is to attain GSF accreditation for all 50 of our communities.”
