At Walstead Place Care Home in Haywards Heath we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Coffee Morning
Date: First Tuesday of every month
Time: 10.30am – 11:30 am
Come and join us for a morning of great coffee, great cakes and even better company. This monthly event is a great place for likeminded people from our local community to get together and make friends, take part in social activities and discuss local issues, all while enjoying a cuppa in a warm, welcoming and safe environment. Enjoy time with our residents and team, all are welcome.

Date: Wednesday 18th December
Time: 2pm – 5pm
Join us for festive songs, mince pies, and mulled wine as we celebrate the festive season with the local community.
